Corpus Christi, Texas

USS Lexington (CV/CVA/CVS/CVT/AVT-16), nicknamed "The Blue Ghost", is an Essex-class aircraft carrier built during World War II for the United States Navy. Since the "shot heard around the world" during the Revolutionary War the name Lexington has been part of American Naval history. There have been five US warships named the Lexington.

  • This is a must see if you want to see how the men and the woman of the US Navy lived while at sea. As a former sailor who served abroad one of her sister ships I loved every inch of her. I want to thank the men and woman who are keeping her in such fine shape.
