February 13, 2002 - An F/A-18 "Hornet" from Carrier Air Wing Nine (CVW-9) launches from 1 of 4 steam catapults on the flight deck of USS John C. Stennis (CVN 74). John C. Stennis and CVW-9 are deployed in support of Operation Enduring Freedom.
